Ready, Set.. SUMMER!!

Summer Kick Off: Batangas!! <3

Right after school’s done last Friday afternoon, my friends and I (My PG Loves and the PGF’s (PG Friends)) right then and there left to start our summer in Nasugbu, Batangas. Reached our destination a little before midnight and as soon as we got settled, we started the party!! ;-)

We stayed up the entire night just laughing and doing silly things over a bunch of drinks. Hella FUN!! 

Well, fine. It wasn’t all just fun. There was a little drama portion too, but it’s private and I’d rather NEVER talk about again. EVER. Hahaha. But’s everything’s back to how it should be.. so.. let’s all pretend it didn’t even happen. Yes?:)

Some of us took a short nap at around 5am, while the others didn’t even bother taking a rest at all. (Jsyk, my boyfriend is a huge fan of sleeping, so you know which category we fall haha). In short, almost none of us was in his 100% normal state of mind. Hahaha! I wasn’t ‘that’ drunk, but close. :P

Despite our not so good feeling, we hopped into a boat for the beach. That’s around 7am, I guess.

Dipped in the water for a little while and then we just felt extreme tiredness thus, the urgent need to get back to the mainland. HAHAHA :)) We didn’t even stay there ‘til lunch time.

We were back on the road bound for home a little after lunch time. Originally, we planned to drop by Tagaytay and do some sight-seeing (OR WHATEVER!!!) but when the driver woke us up when we were there, nobody dare move a muscle to get his/her ass off the van. HAHAHA

And oh, it was raining the entire way home. Glad it didn’t rain while we were on the beach! Weird weather.. when I though it was summer already! Where art thou Mr. Sun?

Was at Shell Balagtas in NLEX (just a few kilometers away from home) around 5 or 5:30 for a short early dinner stop over. I reached home no later than 7pm. Too early. Proof for that: My mum and dad were like “Ba’t nandito ka na? Ang aga mo ha.” the moment I stepped in our house. HAHAHA :) K.

ALL IN ALL, IT’S A FUN SUMMER STARTER!!!!!! <3 I just wish we were complete :’(

Obviously, I never finished my Hell-Week-Diary-or-whatever-it-is-you-wanna-call-it thingy and that is because it just gets more stressful everyday that all I ever do when I get home is either a) do whatever it is that I need to do for school or b) cry my heart out about the what ifs and about other dramas HAHAHAHA

But I’m glad I survived and I finished everything. And as far as I am concerned, I *fingers crossed* didn’t fail any subject! *dances* Not sure though if I have a grade lower than 2.50 (I hope I don’t have a grade lower than that!!!) but at least I’m on the safe zone and Clinic 1’s ready for me come June. ;-)

How’s my Prostho 3 (aka Hannah’s greatest problem), you may ask? I’m happy to say it was finally settled. Took me way too much time, effort and tears before I finally nailed it. Actually, I did my patient’s complete denture 4 times — that’s FOUR FREAKIN’ TIMES!! — because there was always something wrong with it. Heaven knows what!! I wasn’t late in doing the requirements and appointing my patient, and almost all of my spare time at school was dedicated to this subject. I did everything I could. My classmates could stand witness to that. Besides, I know I’m NOT stupid, and well, I may not be the best (not even close) when it comes to hand works but I know I don’t suck either. Let’s say I’m average. So what happened to me was either a) a terrible twist of fate or b) punishment for being too confident and optimistic (hahaha) or c) plain bad luck that I am my professor’s -quote ~apple of the eye~ unquote- or d) karma for something I did awfully wrong in that same subject the previous term or e) I’m just too stupid I never get the feakin thing right. I think all of the above are acceptable.. except for a huge bit of E. A little of that, maybe. HAHAHA :))

Just imagine my joy when my professor finally approved the denture. I literally shed tears of joy. Can’t help it!! Really thankful to friends who helped me :) Soo glad I’m done with Hell Week!! It was the worst I’ve had in my entire schooling life. 

I’m aware my problem is diminutive compared to what the others have, but let’s face it, we have different priorities, different outlook. If you can afford to have a No Final Requirement or No Final Exam on your transcript, I’m sorry, but I can’t. If it’s okay for you to fail, it totally isn’t with me. You also don’t know what I really am going through, how things are at my school, and how hard it is to work with the people around me. And besides, this is my freakin’ blog, so I talk about my life, hence my problems. Got that? So don’t go “Hannah’s you’re so OA” to me! K??? :P

Now I’m just waiting for my grades. I hope it’s all good!!!

Hell Week: Day 2

Here’s what I’ve accomplished from the list today:

And it went well. I’m quite sure I won’t fail this subject. Another subject down!

I’m afraid I won’t get to finish it since we only have 2 meetings left and I still have lots of steps to do :( (Needless to say, we still have final exams to take). Thinking about it just brings me to tears every time :’( Actually, this is my 2nd repeat (aka my third time to work on my patient’s denture) because for some reason, there is ALWAYS something WRONG with whatever it is that I do. WHYYYY???!!!!!! It sucks. I’ve been at this for how many weeks now!!

Ugh!! Didn’t like this day!!! TOO MUCH STRESSSSSSSSSSS :(

Hell Week: Day 1

This has got to be it. The hell of hell weeks! So yes.. I’m doing a hell-week-diary-thingy!! HAHAH! Yes, I am insane like this!! HAHAH! Of all weeks that I have, I decided to daily-blog on the busiest week of my school life. Heeeee~~:P

Before anything else, here’s the list of things yet to be completed this one last week at school before I finally pass (*fingers crossed*) 2nd year of Proper Dentistry. Some may sound slightly alien-ish to anyone outside the crazy dental world (or at least @ my school) but that’s okay, since as far as I am concerned, I only get at most 10 page visits a day. Hahaha!

Fortunately, we’ve finished our Finals Exams with one professor, Dr. Romero last week.. sooo… 3 less problems for this week already!!

Owwwhhkkaayyy. I’m not gonna elaborate any further (and make this longer hihi), so Imma go list down what I’ve accomplished for today (and what I have not).

☑ ☐ Resto 2 Lab Final Exam: Class II Amalgam Patient 

Did my first ever tooth restoration on a real patient earlier today. Took me almost 5 hours! But unfortunately, I still need to REfill the amalgam, since well.. I made a mistake and it was under filled so I still have to repair it and get back on it by Thursday, hence, the un-ticked box. That’s fine with me, though. At least I’m on my way to getting it done. And besides, it’s definitely NOT easy doing my case!! It’s a Mesio-occluso-disto-lingual prepartion with cusp of carabelli!! More complicated that the most complicated!! Ha.

☒ Prostho 2 Lab (RPD) Activity: Snap Impression

Because I was sooo determined and driven to finish my Class II patient, I was absent for my RPD Class.. so that’s minus minus minus points.. but it’s okay!! At least I’m ALMOST through with Resto! Resto all day!! Haha!

That’s it for Hell Week’s First Day!! Hope everything goes on smoothly this week. And please do help me pray I’d get to finish what I’ve yet to finish for my Complete Denture patient. I’m on the verge of either a) losing my scholarship for getting a grade below 2.50 or b) failing the subject and —go back to a.

I know I haven’t blogged since forever, but expect the return of Hannah and the (mostly nonsense, pointless, and not to mention egoistic haha) whatsits of her life as soon this semester is OVER.. that is if I wouldn’t have any failing subjects or incomplete requirements or any form or school-related-trouble whatsoever.

You have no idea how difficult school life is for me right now. It’s the hardest semester EVER. as in eveeerrrr! It’s physically, mentally, EMOTIONALLY, financially (!!), socially, almost everything-ally draining, as in all at the same freakin’ time. Had I not been gifted with super-girl powers, I’d probably have given up already. Heeee~ :P Lol, that was an overstatement, okayyyyy.

Dentistry is hard. And I (sometimes) hate myself for being sooo Hannah that makes the hard even harder. Well, for one, I’m naturally lazy and in case you have already forgotten, I am the Procrastination Queen, ie, I don’t ‘usually’ work on things ahead of time. But aside from myself (which I guess contributes around 19% on the total hardness), there are also several other factors which contributes to this tough world that is DENTISTRY. I ain’t gonna talk about the ‘other factors’ though. Because simply the thought of talking about it is already grueling my feelings so I’d rather not.

AHH Well. To sum up all this Hannah-Kaartehan, I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS EXCITED FOR A BREAK FROM SCHOOL IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!
